Shipping policy

Our delivery terms

It is absolutely essential that you read and confirm that you have understood the following:

  • The space for your furniture will be clear and that you are aware that we cannot dispose items of furniture on your behalf. To comply with Health & Safety regulations, our drivers will not remove, reposition or dispose of other items of furniture for you.
  • In compliance with Health & Safety regulations, we will only undertake deliveries through main entrances and doorways. We will not deliver items through windows or rooftops.
  • Celtheath cannot be held responsible for damage to floors if they are insufficiently protected. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide non-slippery protection for their floors (both for carpets and wooden flooring), from the front door to the final placement of the item. We cannot carry enough sheeting to provide protection for all our deliveries.
  • Please note that should our delivery staff believe that they are unable to deliver an item without causing damage to your property they will inform you and give you the choice of continuing with the delivery. If they are asked to proceed and damage to your property ensues, no claim can be made against Celtheath.
  • Should you be unable to receive your delivery and fail to inform us a minimum of 72 hours beforehand, a second delivery slot will need to be arranged and will be subject to a second delivery charge. The subsequent delivery date will be the earliest possible, but is subject to diary availability.
  • Please ensure any changes to address, telephone or access details as signed for today are updated, as if your delivery fails due to incorrect information supplied, a second delivery slot will need to be arranged and will be subject to a second delivery charge. The subsequent delivery date will be the earliest possible, but is subject to diary availability.
  • Celtheath reserves the right not to complete the delivery if the correct information is not given at the time of ordering or terms of delivery not met. (A second delivery may need to be arranged and a further delivery charge would be applied).

We cannot promise specific delivery times - but we will give you a two-hour guideline. Our Logistics department will be in contact with you to arrange the delivery date. We would do our best to accommodate requests for morning or afternoon deliveries. Please remember to check your phone for text-messages and email. The delivery team endeavours to arrive within the stated times, although we have no control over traffic hold-ups due to accidents or unexpected events.
